WELCOME PAWS Assistance Dogs Founded by The SW Florida Professional Dog Trainers Alliance & Jeannie Bates, PAWS for Love Assistance Dogs offer compassionate canine assistance for children and adolescents with developmental disabilites. Placement consideration is also given to adults that are challenged with mobility issues. Our program screens gifted and talented canines for appropriate temperaments through shelter pets, breeder programs and other local rescue organziations. Individualized training programs are based on the needs of each client and the supporting family. This innovative assistance dog training program offers bright hope for the future of our clients. Sponsored by The Humane Society Naples, our program sets the gold standard for community service in Collier County Florida. PAWS for Love Therapy Dogs Partnered with our Assistance Dogs, this program trains and places working therapy dog teams in Animal Assisted Activities. Our teams are currently serving the community at Naples Community Hospital, Avow Hospice, Youth Haven, Pups N' Books with the Collier County library and countless senior facilties. |
